Gibeum Kim
Dr. Gibeum Kim is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Kim stays current with emerging dental trends by attending numerous continuing education classes throughout the year.
He is committed to learning more about areas like dental implantology and has completed advanced implant training with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Kim is a member of Texas Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
“I have seen how poor oral health affects my patients and how it’s possible for me to improve their quality of life by utilizing my knowledge and artistic skills. Dentistry is constantly evolving, and I enjoy learning new technologies and applying them in our office for the comfort of my patients.”
Dr. Kim was born in Ohio and lived in South Korea and Canada. He now resides in Frisco, TX and is an active part of our community. He has a beautiful wife and daughter and two dogs, a Pit Bull and a Min Pin. In his free time, Dr. Kim enjoys watching baseball, going to the movies, cooking, and traveling with his family.

Leeshik Shin
Dr. Leeshik Shin is dedicated to providing the highest level of comprehensive care, rooted in a strong academic background. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy with a B.S. in Biochemistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he also received the prestigious Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed an intensive one-year General Practice Residency at Stony Brook Hospital in New York. Dr. Shin’s commitment to lifelong learning is evidenced by his 500+ hours of continuing education and his achievement as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), an honor held by only about 6% of general dentists. Most recently, he achieved Associate Fellowship in the American Association of Implant Dentistry, underscoring his expertise in the implant field. He is driven by his belief that modern dental technology can significantly elevate patient care at Whitetree Dental and change lives. Outside the office, Dr. Shin enjoys watching Premier League Soccer and spending time with his wife, two boys (Noah and Aiden) and a new baby girl.

If you have a question about dental insurance, Linh is the person you need to talk to! She has been an essential part of the Whitetree Dental family since the practice first opened its doors and brings nearly ten years of experience navigating the complexities of dental coverage. Linh is committed to helping every patient understand their benefits completely. When she isn’t busy assisting our patients, she loves to cook, bake, watch movies, and spend time with her three kids. Her personal specialty is pho—don’t hesitate to ask her for the recipe!

Registered dental assistant. I’ve been in the dental field for over two years and I can honestly say I love my job. I like to make sure our patients are comfortable and relaxed. Their care and comfort are very important to me. What I love the most is seeing how happy our patients are after having treatments be it small or major. Their joy gives me joy and that’s why I love what I do.
In my spare time I love spending time with my wonderful husband and our three kids. I love to cook, being half Korean I cook a lot of Korean/Asian food but my other favorites are Italian and Soul food. I hope to meet you soon.
